THE FILM

Have you ever wanted to tell your parents how you really feel, but are afraid they will disown you?

This film based on the true story of a poetry teacher's quest for a romantic relationship that will lead to marriage and children. After they find each other, he wants to move beyond her curiosity and make babies. Her concerns about his guarded emotions flare when she meets his dysfunctional parents. Compelled to see behind his mask, tensions build until they explode. Hiding behind it for so long, he doesn't even know he is wearing one. Desperate to find love, John Lee, faces his darkness on a rollercoaster journey to the film’s finale hailed as one of the most powerful in modern cinema.

THE FACTS

This book that has helped countless men and the women who want to love them

Joseph Campbell and Robert Bly, mentors of the, pro-feminist, 'Men's Movement', helped John Lee find his true masculinity by honestly confronting his childhood, releasing his rage, learning how to process grief and becoming the man he was always meant to be. Then Bly encouraged John to write the book, "The Flying Boy, healing the wounded man." which has helped millions in their relationships over the years and is the only book to be featured on the Oprah Winfrey Show three times. Today the most commonly posted qualifications women are looking for are, "A man who is in touch with his feelings."  One begins to wonder, why do so many self made men, make themselves the way they are? Jeff Eget and Don Stewart Baldwin acquired the rights to this true life story in an effort to help men untwist their tangled feelings to become emotionally free. Toxic masculinity is merely one of the many manifestations that emerge from fear driven false persona's. This film exposes the most common form that is hiding in plain sight.
